All About Me

Hi, I’m Jennifer. I grew up in Western Colorado and realized my love of writing and editing early. I was proud to attend Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism for undergrad, which provided a launching pad for an interesting and varied career in marketing communications. Later, a graduate degree in public relations and advertising from DePaul University helped hone my content strategy skills.

I love creating compelling content to help organizations achieve their ambitious goals. I thrive as an individual contributor and a manager overseeing remote teams.

I’ve been freelancing since the before NASA landed the Curiosity rover on Mars, but I never get tired of improving other people’s prose and workshopping my own copy.

Outside of words/work, I’m a fan of volunteering, college football (Go ’Cats!), Lego Botanicals, gluten-free baked goods, and prestige TV.
